Red Corvette 350 blown
When this car was driven
back to my yard, it was a 48C day, way too hot to travel
without aircon. The car did
not over heat and it run perfectly for the 400km trip home
(highway)
The motor is the original block and heads rebuilt. 8.5:1 compression. Competition Cams 272 cam, Edelbrock 750 cfm carb, Wiend 177 cubic inch blower, Chrome Hooker headers with 4" side pipes with muffler inserts. Pertronix Flame thrower HEI ignition with Taylor wires.
The transmission is a 700r4 4 speed automatic built by a local transmission shop. The torque
converter is a 2200 stall.
The rear end is stock with 3.08 gears.
